In 1953, the Jaguar XK 120 won the auto race at Le Mans. The Jaguar race team placed first, second and fourth. The Jaguar XK 120 race car had a top speed of 150 miles per hour!

The Jaguar XK 120 was introduced in 1948. Its straight 6, 3442 cc engine,  produced 160 horsepower. It was the fastest production car in the world, capable of 126 mph. The fixed head coupe was introduced in 1951.
